Even though I was a fan of the Temps in the 60’s; I didn’t discover Eddie until 2018 (at age 74!) The song “Baby” is one of his best!

Love him..... I can Remember being around 5 or 6 watching and dancing to Eddie singing Get Ready 🥰😍🥰....watching the Temptations on TV.. Had a crush since then.... I'm now 60.... still love him💜💚💙💜

Wow a friend Eddie must have been to those he called friend. Your insight and the information that you shared about Eddie was so fresh. I’ve been a Temptations fan since I was a child back in the 70’s. That story about Eddie hitting the squirrel was very moving. I can see why Diana Ross wanted Eddie back into her life; what a caring and sensitive soul he was. It always amazes me to see many of those singers from yesteryear smoking those cigarettes not seeming to know about the damage smoking does to the throat and lungs. He like the other Tempts who have passed on all died to young. Except Dennis Edwards, I think he lived to be 74 . What a beautiful legacy of music Eddie left this world for generations to come. Great story on Eddie Kendricks. I enjoyed watching it! Eddie it's one of my favorite Temptation member alongside with David Ruffin, Paul Williams and Dennis Edwards. I did watched the David Ruffin and Paul Williams story on there. And they were both great and i enjoyed watching those two stories. Yes indeed, as a young girl, I had a crush on Eddie. Looking at the album covers he had the cutest smile. He looked like a nice sweet guy. I think Paul and David was his best friends. I admired how he stuck up for him. How unless Paul came along he probably would not of joined the Temptations. He was loyal to Paul and David. That's a true friend. I think everyone saw his last performance on Apollo.. He was so think but he was well dressed. The fans just wanted to see Eddie. It was said he kept preforming because he wanted make sure he had enough money to be buried. He didn't want nobody to have to beg to pay for his funeral. He did have a sense of humor. Some those interviews made me laugh I did see the one with him and David, David said he didn't like some of the out fits Eddie made them wear. He knew Apollo would be his last performance, but he wanted to give his fans one last show. That he did. He went out like a trooper. His smile was just special. He's with his friends again. Eddie was quite a gentleman, and he was drop dead gorgeous! He was one tall, handsome, SEXY, milk chocolate delight! Women loved him then, and women still swoon over Eddie till this day. His beautiful voice, his good looks are always mentioned in discussions about Eddie. I'm a relatively new fan, but I love him too pieces. 💋💕💋
