Eddie provin' why he is da Man, No doubt! Just pure class throughout. What's great for me is he is actually dancin' to the music as opposed to simply executing patterns. As for Ms Otiz...phwew!!! Bueno, por lo que veo y experiencia lo Colombianos tienen buena tecnica para vueltas, pero nada mas. Cada vez que bailaba salsa con un Colombiano siempre me perdia no tienen sazon. Si sabian de muchas vueltas, pero no en mi opinion bailan fuera de tiempo como pajaritos en el aire. Con Dominicanos , Boricuas, y Cubanos wow se siente el sazon, y el ritmo.

Ahh Nancy Ortiz--there are precious few videos of her dancing on KZbin and she is my absolute favorite, my salsa spirit animal. Although Eddie Torres has had numerous talented partners, including Grisel Ponce, who is brilliant, I really admire Nancy. Where did she go? Is she still dancing? Anyway, this video makes me want to mambo like no other.

Couldn't agree with you more! She is unique. But indeed, very few videos of her on youTube. There are a couple at Jimmy Anton's social... and the one where she gives Frankie Martinez a (fun) ride for his money. She's playful, fun, skilled and never intimidated by her sometimes very flashy partners. And how the woman moves! However, she seems to have vanished off the face of the salsa world. She can be found on FB, but not much about salsa there either. Until someone as good comes up, I'll watch Alien Ramirez... Magna Gopal... but, it's not the same. Boo-hool

WHAT?? Do you know who Eddie Torres is? He is the father of NY Style On 2....ON 2!! And he is by far the best out there. His shines, or footwork, are the hardest out there. Whenever you are in NYC make a trip to his studio and see if you can keep up :)

La calidad del baile está en los pasos- Es un baile de figuras que se establece sobre pasos y si los apsos no están bien hechos pues el baole es horrible en su totalidad.
