I watch this video every week, at least once. I love the way Eddie gives that expression after playing the lead. Imagine if this story could make Eddie Vedder grow a bit, what it had done to simple people like us. Christopher's story, Sean Penn and Eddie did something which could never happen again.A perfect combination of art and pain. I just wish I could see this man playing live. Just once before I take my last breath.

LYRICS It's a mystery to me We have a greed with which we have agreed You think you have to want more than you need Until you have it all you won't be free Society, you're a crazy breed I hope you're not lonely without me When you want more than you have You think you need And when you think more than you want Your thoughts begin to bleed I think I need to find a bigger place 'Cause when you have more than you think You need more space Society, you're a crazy breed I hope you're not lonely without me Society, crazy and deep I hope you're not lonely without me There's those thinking more or less, less is more But if less is more how you're keeping score? Means for every point you make your level drops

Means for every point you make your level drops Kinda like you're startin' from the top And you can't do that Society, you're a crazy breed I hope you're not lonely without me Society, crazy indeed I hope you're not lonely without me Society, have mercy on me I hope you're not angry if I disagree Society, you're crazy indeed I hope you're not lonely without me

He is the only guy that has affect my life so much , in a good way, and doesn't even know. It started about 4-5 months ago. I saw this movie named Into the Wild and bought it. It became my fav movie. Now when this song started to play I cried and loughed at the same time(probably not first time in the movie). I cried of relief. I youtubed "Society" and found Eddie Vedder, was amazed, found Pearl Jam. He released me. I am no longer affected to the society.

This is my song, when I left the lower 48, moving to Alaska. It's how I felt, so I escaped. I was sick of CA and everyone in it. I also wanted distance between my birth family and me. With Canada in between us, I finally felt safe. And now, all I want to do is go home to Alaska. I had to leave Alaska for a Surgical Oncologist to save my life. He did. But physically, I am a shadow of what I once was. It's hard not doing what you love, and have been told you never will again. And that is getting high. On a Rocky Crag of a mountain Peak, hanging by a thread. (rope).
@danceswithbears25219 жыл бұрын
Hi, Rebecca. How are you doing? I don't blame you for wanting to go home. I grew up in CA and hated it all. When I was 19, my sister and I drove up the coast to Vancouver, B.C. That's when I knew my home is the Pacific Northwest. I've never been to Alaska but I want to go someday.
@farnorthweaver77939 жыл бұрын
DancesWithBears Oh, You should go! I lived just outside of a town called Seward. It's on the Kenai Peninsula. Even Alaskans got jealous of those living there when they came to town to visit. There are some good videos of Seward on YT, some with old friends in them. I want to tell you, that I learned something important from our dialogue with each other, and I knelt and thanked God for you being an instrument of a good lesson. It was when you gave your Testimony of your enduring Faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you! I'm not doing very well. I was having a lot of pain in my lower spine, and then symptoms showed up. I have 3 Tarlov Cysts in my lower Spine. They were found after an MRI 2 months ago. And I'm symptomatic. I had an MRI with Contrast Saturday early evening at the Hospital. I got the notes on that yesterday and the CD this morning, along with seeing my Doctor for a follow up this morning. I was told that I needed surgery, being symptomatic, the nerve issues would eventually cripple me. There are only a very few that do the surgery, as it's a very dangerous surgery. I also got a second opinion, it is what it is. The Neurosurgeon is in Dallas, Dr. Feigenbaum. A remarkable surgeon. Nevertheless, the Contrast from the MRI, lit up with Metastatic Lesions which can signify Cancer in two areas. Breast, which has been ruled out, and Lung Cancer. They are also considering different Bone Cancers, as well as Spinal Metastasis. We shall see. I'm sad, but not afraid to suffer or die, I hold the Lord Jesus close. But my family and the look on their faces, is hard. Thank you so much for your note... The Lord Bless and Keep you, Eternally in Christ, Rebecca
