You mean the beautiful soul who encouraged the assassination of a sitting US President? The same beautiful soul who promoted murdering another human being? The same beautiful soul who uses illegal drug? The same beautiful soul who abuses illegal drugs? The same beautiful soul who distributes illegal drugs? The same beautiful soul who is a drunk? The same beautiful soul who physically and emotionally abused his spouse? THAT “beautiful” soul?
@marshallstrander39222 жыл бұрын
@@tntkop Is there an application process for righteousness or what a “good person” is or is not, even though we all ultimately fall short? And if there is, if I were to know knew every little detail about your own life (like people do with Johnny, who was just a child before entering the ravishing, unforgiving world of world fame), what would I find? I mean just considering the narrative and tonality that you’re speaking from, it sounds like you deem yourself as a “good person.” You must be perfect! Never have done anything wrong! Right? Based on your own personal criteria and psychology, you certainly wouldn’t make the cut. By the way, there’s no tangible evidence on your physical abuse claims in regards to the trial going on, in fact it was vice versa. Anyone with half a brain who’s actually watched the trial knows that. Here’s my point: What you see as “beautiful” is entirely based on your own distorted reality and perception on “beautiful”. What I see as beautiful is not a perfect person. It’s not someone who’s “righteous” in the eyes of the public. In fact, I don’t even justify the things Johnny has done in the past. What I do see is someone who’s actively trying to make a change, to become a better person, and to learn from their mistakes and defend themselves when others attack. That’s what I see as beautiful. Broken people can have the most beautiful, inspiring stories to tell. So yes Madam, I do think he has a beautiful soul.

I love both of these guys. The contrast between their performances underlines the different paths they've taken in life. Eddie comes across as honest and humble and just a pro. Johnny comes off as very self-conscious. I think being an actor must be so different and then having to be genuinely yourself could be unnerving. The confidence comes from hiding behind different personalities, but when you suddenly have nothing to hide behind, how do you know anymore how to behave like yourself?

Yeah well maybe. I mean I would be the way you describe if I were trying to seriously establish a post acting career. He seems to be doing quite well. I have zero doubt that sooner or later he's gonna have a big hit and proceed on with his first love of music making. The story goes that he was drawn into acting by people in Hollywood because of his looks and presence. He has never actually watched his own movies not caring much about them apart from delivering his very best to the projects.

They looked good on stage together and actually the solo JD´s playing is from the original track and spot on. I don´t understand all this hate against this guy. He´s so down to earth and not the typical Hollywood product. He´s pure, just like EV. And he has done so many great performances that he can do whatever he wants for the rest of his life. And last, he was actually a musician before the films. And one more last thing. Would Keith Richards, Liam Gallagher etc invite him to play on a record, if he was lacking of talent. I don´t think so. Name dropping is good if you´re Madonna, who´s seeking attention all the time and need it - even if it means kissing Britney Spears or whatever she´s doing. Eddie doesn´t need JD. They just had a good time and it actually sounds awesome. I am a musician. I know: This is not just BS. I would call up JD, for some guitar on my music, he´s fame or not. He´s cool. He´s a guitar player, every band would love to have. Unless, you´re in a band with a prick of a frontman, who could not take, that the girls would look at the guitar player now and then. :o)

JD has always treated people respectfully. He is so under the earth. I really hope he wins this recent court! I really got upset when he talked about his childhood or how that forced him to explain why he used drugs... I mean, everybody knows he has used, so when somebody has aware of a person’s habits and accepts to be his partner, why should he use that stuff against him... So sadly... he is so talented, kind, humble and respectful... Imagine a 30year-old girl told a 50year-old famous man: why does Dior want to work with you? You have no class and no style! Fuck!

The raw emotion in his voice and the sincerity in every strum remind me of the authenticity that seems to be missing in a lot of modern music. A nice combination. Johnny Depp is having the time of his life when playing in a stage with his friends. This is 12 years ago....when reputed composers do invite Johnny Depp to play with them. Just notice how good Johnny Depp can play any music....anywhere....he is a great guitar player.....

Prior to his acting career, Depp was a guitarist, and has later featured on songs by Oasis, Shane MacGowan, Iggy Pop, Vanessa Paradis, Aerosmith, Marilyn Manson, and The New Basement Tapes, among others. He also performed with Manson at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards in 2012.[172] Depp played guitar on the soundtrack of his films Chocolat and Once Upon a Time in Mexico, and has appeared in music videos for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Lemonheads, Avril Lavigne and Paul McCartney. In the 1990s, he was also a member of P, a musical group featuring Butthole Surfers singer Gibby Haynes, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones. In 2015, Depp formed the supergroup Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper and Joe Perry; the band also includes Bruce Witkin, his friend from his 1980s band, The Kids. Hollywood Vampires released their self-titled debut studio album in September 2015. It featured eleven classic rock covers, as well as three original songs (all co-written by Depp).[173] The band made their live debut at The Roxy in Los Angeles in September 2015,[174] and has since done two world tours in 2016[175] and 2018.[176][177] Their second studio album, Rise, was released in June 2019 and consists mostly of original material, including songs written by Depp. The album also features a cover version of David Bowie's "Heroes", sung by Depp.[178] In 2020, Depp released a cover of John Lennon's "Isolation" with guitarist Jeff Beck, and stated that they would be releasing more music together in the future.[179]

Love love love this song forever. haha Johnny Depp's moments of glory as a guitarist. It was good to see JD pay homage to Eddie at the end.

He's played with much better than Vedder. That's just because he's humble, he's probably doing that because more people were there to see him than Vedder. In fact, he's much better than Vedder, considering he was playing when Vedder was in diapers. You've got it backwards. Even Joe Perry said JD was better than him.

@@gymnast2890 Please stop saying Johnny's been playing since Eddie was in diapers. They are only two years apart in age.

A great musician and a great actor together on stage, this is fascinating! It always seemed to me that Depp has a fairly decent personality, considering how bad people in Hollywood can be. It is very unfortunate that he had a troubled relationship lately. I hope he can get over it soon.
