Thanks JC. The key of F is trickier than other keys as your left-hand fingers have to hold more notes than playing in the key of G. Once you tackle that and know where your three main chords land, you're on your way. Good luck.

Everyone has to figure out how they learn best. Those with more of a formal music background tend to relate to the scale idea. Others like the idea of "playing off shapes" and knowing where to find those shapes. As with any video, hopefully you found something that was helpful.
