He has been there for good times , bad times, happy an sad times. I first heard Pearl Jam in 1991, when I was 15 yo & my father brought home a copy of the master of "Ten" before it's release & asked my opinion (his boss knew that I was their target "demo" & often asked my opinion). I listened and was immediately transfixed by the purity, simplicity, depth, & mosaics of the music & lyrics & Eddie Vedders voice. I felt his voice in my sacral region & knew that he believed every word on that album. I've been a fan since then (I'm 46 yo) &, even on tracks that aren't my favorite, I support this man artistically & hope he is around, making music, & fighting for his beliefs for another 31 years. Thanks for using your voice & for being brave enough to use it beyond music for the greater good.
