@bethanyrumkui22934 жыл бұрын
It might not be the best question to ask but I recently studied Ac motor(Induction motor) where I got to know continuous changing field induces Eddy current.what really confused me was as the magnetic field of stator kept changing it produced absolutely no effect on the magnetic field produced by the Eddy current as if it had induced permanent poles.The north and the South Pole of the induced Eddy current kept moving towards the magnetic field of the stator but could've simply reversed their field to counteract the change of field.why does that not happen? .I hope you can help me with it

Thanks for that explanation. It was great. I have a question though. I recently took apart an old transformer, to fix it. I fixed the problem but now I don’t know if I should apply any type insulation to the E-shaped core-sheets that I removed before putting them back together to reduce eddy current loss. Is it necessary?

Sir all your videos are veey useful..sir i have a doubt on d.c...if d.c can produce magnetic field then why we cant use it in transformers

DC cannot produce rotating magnetic field. That’s why we can’t.

Then can't we find eddy Current break itself in AC motors and Core of transformers
@bharathvarun4 жыл бұрын
Do u mean brake??eddy current braking is also used in energy meters to limit the speed of rotation of aluminium disc.(only for energy meters which has permanent magnet)

Great ! Clarification needed on the summary, are the eddy current is because of rotating magnetic field or varying magnetic field, I assume it is the later! Can I get your phone number?
