This is how the Eddy Kenzo Festival 2022 went down in Kampala at Kololo Airstrip on 12 November 2022.
Eddy Kenzo Festival is an annual cultural exchange festival founded by Ugandan musician and cultural icon Eddy Kenzo in 2022. The festival is not only aimed at promoting Ugandan culture, music, and creativity, but also at sharing love and unity among Ugandans. A portion of the proceeds from the festival goes to the Eddy Kenzo Foundation, which supports various social causes and initiatives in Uganda.
The festival is a platform for artists, musicians, performers, and cultural enthusiasts from across Uganda and beyond to showcase their talents and celebrate the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the country. Through music, dance, art, and other forms of cultural expression, the festival promotes cross-cultural exchange and understanding.
In addition to promoting culture and creativity, Eddy Kenzo Festival also serves as a way to give back to the community. The festival supports the Eddy Kenzo Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the lives of Ugandans through education, health, and environmental conservation initiatives.
