Eddy okonta the asaba born highlife legend who rock the city of ibadan back in the 1950 and 1960, at the famous paradise club owned by a lebanies man. He became famous after his song Oriwo. He had an accident which almost claimed his life and left him leaping, he proceed to Lagos but could not get things back like before he is a very dicipline man. I heard his life story from one of his band member Mr Tajudeen Ajibike, I felt like crying, Eddy okonta died in pennury. Continue to rest in peace Asaba born highlife legend
