To cover the outlets on your plugs, drill some holes in the side of some cheap plastic containers and feed the extension cords in to keep them dry. Just a little tip.
@JoanneLayman12 сағат бұрын
To feed fowi in the snow, it is necessary to use a broom or shovel to clear out a space in front of your building to broadcast the scratch. Another option is to have a sheltered place from rain AND snow where the ground is always dry. Feed them ONLY in that space and that's where they will go to eat.
@ralphyarn126513 сағат бұрын
We northerners, especially Canadians, use tarps to cover our open vehicles because of the snow (and rain). We usually sweep the snow off as well, to prevent the issues you just experienced. If you have a leaf blower you can blow all the snow off very efficiently. Is there a windshield and wiper in your future? You have more snow on the ground than we do. Blessings, prayers, and greetings from Pastor Ralph Yarn, Dartmouth, NS Canada

They make an aftermarket roof for their can-am side by side. I wonder why it hasn't been a priority to install one 🤔 Seen them for about $200. I know they sell aftermarket doors as well. Enclosed buggy is better to keep the rain out as well

This is so crazy. You have so so so much snow with no let up in sight! You need a clear area to spread the chicken feed. put down a small tarp at least.put the chicken feed in a cleared out kiddie pool! Thank goodness this snow is not an every day occurance.Otherwise I would say you need the extention cord covers! 🤗🤗💞💞💙💙

You can buy a piece of plexiglass, have it cut to the width of the side by side window, drill a few holes on each side, and zip tie it where a window would go. Our local Lowe’s sells plexiglass.

Thank you Brandon and Steph for this wonderful video. You are certainly hard core farmers going out in that snow feeding the animals, I see your love and commitment in what you do... I was running behind you in the side by side, I was trying to throw a big sheet of see through plastic over the top of the side by side to keep the snow off you but you was going faster than I could run😂. I know you'll be happy when the hay barn get's finished but everything in due time and there's to much to do to stay on one project. Love, Love, Love the family. Keep on keeping on. ❤❤❤❤❤❤😘

The farm looks so very bright and beautiful, as does that pretty new house with all the snow. I can just picture all the sleepy headed kids waking up to all that snow and hurrying to get outside to play in it! Wonderful that you all got to have 4 beautiful children to enjoy each other. And on days like this esp. Blessings!

I had one born this morning and one of my other dogs that had a baby two days ago has passed two deceased baby goats this morning. I wasn’t even sure she was still pregnant. I have a total of 10 babies on the ground right now and two more days Due to have theirs and then I will be done for the year. I am trying to downsize and I only had 10 bred this year.

You did a great job getting everyone fed. Not easy when snow is that deep. I love your idea of a barn(s) closer to the house. Everything is so expensive, but I know you will get a barn or 2 in the future. Just keep working along and it does happen. Hopefully not as long as it took to get your house!!!!🥰😇 You could even use a 2 sided lean to for the side x side, tractor, or when you can get the roof on the other barn, that will really help. All in GOD's timing.
