Hi Fin, Thanks so much for your kind comment. In reply to a few of your questions, I live in Oakland, Ca, but I perform with my Band in many places (Band started in 1986!) . Please know that I have 4 recordings out, the first one not available on Cd, as it was released in vinyl and I have yet to reproduce it on digital format. My bands web is: www.musicandela.com and FYI: I have many other videos on this other platform: www.dancepapi.com . Please subscribe to my channel and the one of dancepapi and you will be receiving notifications when I post more videos. Be safe. Be happy. Keep drumming! Thank you!

Incredible, Edgardo, your teaching style, patience, and love for music and others is a prescious resource. I am a guitar and bass player and took up learning percussion to be a better musician. I found you on dancepapi, and think you are a wonderful instructor by mentoring people. I am working on shakers, clave, and conga. What I have found with your lessons is how to be a better person through study of percussion. Muchos Gracias!

Thanks so much David. I appreciate your comment and your support. I am glad the videos are helping you and percussion knowledge will compliment enormously your guitar and bass playing. Thanks again.

@@Eddysuconga Edgardo, you inspired much confidence and a lot of fun learning congas. This weekend I was fortunate to find a great bargain on a complete set of Meinl Luis Conte congas. I really appreciate your teaching.

I was in your city! Love Atenas, it's people and the food! I was playing with Cuban great pianist Omar Sosa for a week at The Half Note Club (pretty sure that was the name...?) All I remember is that everyone (audience) smoke right in front of you, in a very small intimate setting.... Every table had not one but two ashtrays, and at the end of the show, when they all left, they were all full of cigarette buts... Ironically, the club was right across a small cemetery... On a more positive note the audiences were very engaging, the promoters treated like kings and took us to eat the most delicious grilled Lamb you could imagine, and from there we went to Thessaloniki, to play at another Club owned by the same people. Me trajiste buenos recuerdos! Gracias!

@@Eddysuconga Very surprised that you remember all these things after all these (a lot) of years. Of course I was there, one of those nights ...I remember you playing the congas, singing & playing shekere, right in the middle-front of the stage. I was very inspired by your playing congas, relaxing & stable the same time. Gracias a ti por tus videos . Saludos otra vez y un dia espero que me enseñes mas sobre las congas !
