easy way how i do the same thing, but actually _effortlessly_ :- -part your hair -bring up a rough high ponytail -loosen the top few strands and some on your face -tie loosely then tighten it by pulling the pony

Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively is a Flamboyant Natural (David Kibbe's body type system) and Naturals look great with more messy volume and unfinished edges. A Classic type like Amy Adams looks better with neat hair and finished edges. That goes for clothes as well as hair too.
