I presume Eden Ahbez, his long hair and beard, was stared at a lot on the street in 1948. He would pass unnoticed in 2024. Progress, I guess.

She comes on like a rose And everybody knows She'll get you in dutch You can look but you'd better not touch Poison ivy, poison ivy Well late at night when you're sleeping Poison ivy comes a creeping all around She's pretty as a daisy But look out man she's crazy She'll really do you in But if you let her get under your skin Poison ivy, poison ivy Well late at night when you're sleeping Poison ivy comes a creeping all around Measles make you bumpy and mumps'll make you lumpy And chicken pox'll make you jump and twitch A common cold'll cool you but whooping cough'll fool you But poison ivy's gonna make you itch You're gonna need an ocean Of calamine lotion You'll be scratching like a hound The minute you start to mess around Poison ivy, poison ivy Well late at night when you're sleeping Poison ivy comes a creeping all around Measles make you bumpy and mumps'll make you lumpy And chicken pox'll make you jump and twitch A common cold'll cool you and whooping cough'll fool you But poison ivy's gonna make you itch You're gonna need an ocean Of calamine lotion You'll be scratching like a hound The minute you start to mess around Poison ivy, poison ivy Well late at night when you're sleeping Poison ivy comes a creeping all around

Una coreografía muy simplona ... Más sin embargo el derroche y disfrute de talento de estos 2 artistas lo convierte a toda la escena divertida y con carisma a la época que les toco

what are the names of all the songs they sing after nature boy? there are 2 more songs, arent there?
@BrentMagellan
@BrentMagellan 10 жыл бұрын
One of them is "Poison Ivy", song written in 1957 by the Leiber-Stoller tandem, made a hit originally by The Coasters and covered by about everybody in the second half of the 20th century (including a memorable version by the early Rolling Stones). Officially, the song refers to a heartbreaking woman; however, the alleged subtext openly deals with the inconvenients of getting to intimate with promiscuous women, hence the "itches" mentioned in the lyrics. Pretty daring topic for that time!

What is the song after Nature Boy and before Poison Ivy?
@waldolydecker8118
@waldolydecker8118 2 жыл бұрын
The melody is from a very influential Nat King Cole hit from the early 1940's entitled "Calypso Blues," but the lyrics in this clip were rewritten specifically as a transition piece to sing between the two primary songs, Nature Boy and Poison Ivy.

@DreamsCumTrue469 point taken, but take a classical music piece for instance and snatchup one of these kids runnin around here yellin Gucci or wakka wakka wakka i mean flakka, and expose there ears to this jewel. people would find out quickly that the art of Real Music, the kind without words is completely lost upon them! they have to constantly hear somebody rambling words in order to excite there emotions! how many kids do you know would love reading the book rather then seeing the movie?

I am interested in finding out what THE dude is saying, but the voice quality is bhaaaad! Help?! I drew some kind of map that sounds more like gibberish. HELP? Q: How did you happen to write nature boy? A: Dwight, nature boy is really the sotry of my life, i was wandering (love for)in nature in desire to find god/love, one day i came to look for nature as a great symphony, and found love was the theme of that symphony.
