@@sktzn6829 Yeah Haba Haba is good (still can't believe it didn't qualify) but it's something you'd hear more from other regions in Africa like Kenya while East African countries like Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti and Somalia have a certain sound to their music that Feker Libi captures very well while also fusing it with Middle Eastern elements.

I'll tell you why this song should win. Eurovision is all about bringing your ethnicity and your country's culture to the song in the contest. And Israel definatly does that in Feker Libi. Israel is a Westen-modern country, so there's a pop music in there. And Israel is a mediterrenian country, so there's an orient-arabic music there. And the singer is from an Ethiopian family, so there's an African groovy beat in the song. And it is all combined so beautifully in such harmonic way. After hearing the other songs in the contest, Feker Libi is like... An ice cream in the summer: Cool, sweet, refreshing, different, energetic and... Just fun! I hope Eden will win, she deserves this sooooo much.

Eden said that Set me free put her talent first while Feker Libi put her roots first and that is absolutely right. However, Eurovision is all about roots and diversity and this song would have done brilliantly and ranked much, much better than Set me free did.

This might just be speculation on my part but I don't think her ranking had anything to do with her or the song, but simply because of what is going on in Israel rn. She got almost no points from the public vote, so yeah.

@@teukka623 everyone in my household thought the song was an absolute bop and we thought she might win. So for us it was a shock when she got nothing from the public vote. Even loco loco got more televoting points, to me that was a truly meaningless song and performance. It did absolutely nothing for me.

@Teukka agree with @Julie. MOST EUROVISION SONGS ARE NOTHING SPECIAL. So 2020 was game changing good, and 2021 was not a special song, but her voice was far better than in both songs-- including 2021's many nothing special "whatever" songs that got more votes. Seriously, look at the competition-- nothing special is the norm at Eurovision.

Rakata sounds great as a studio track. Live it was boring and not good at all. Rakata was also my favorite BY FAR but staging was poor, dancers were not fully coordinated and not it, clothes were random... Feker libi was my no. 2 and live it sounded MUCH BETTER and the staging,dance(rs), backing vocals and back screen were amazimg.
