Bumped into this reaction accidentally and it was major fun! Although EV was canceled : Israel sent over the years Jews from many origins - most of them are not European BTW. Actually All the winners were "Arabic Jews" - 1978 & 1979 & 1998 winners were Yamanite jews, and 2018 winner Netta - is half polish half Libian. there aren't that many Ethiopian jews in Israel and at al but they are amazing people and the story of how they arrived to Israel is unbelievable. What I love most about this song is the Fact that it represent Israel so accurately - joining of east & west, Arabic & Western Culture - with a very optimistic and fun story.
