We are going through the basics and also what i belive is the best starter location on the map.
Eden Crafters, if Planet Crafter / Satisfactory had a child.
This is the Prologue with the basics included and it seems promissing.

Is this the best location to start your base ? What you think, other suggestions?

I like to build on the South shore too, close to most resources and the island. Could move to the island due to sulfur close. I do not like the size or design of the warehouses, does not match the production lines or compartments.

Warehouses are deff way to large imo. If you want to utilise warehouses completely one would want one warehouse for each item. That would take half the map. Hopefully they will listen to some feedback and make them smaller or make containers V2 function the same way, I would be fine with that

Dev have confirmed changes to warehouse and dedicated slots for items

If the landscape isn't randomly generated, I don't think it's cool. It's why I can't play Satisfactory either.

@@ShamblerDK hear ya. Though one could try to avoid any tips and hints videos when full version comes around as that will at least give U some new and dresh maps U don't know anything about. But it's a valid point, deff
