ive always said ... wicked should have gotten the rights to this song... and the character of Elphaba should have sung a revamped version of this with the same melody... Fantastic

ya actually i already knew that.. but ive always thought that was downplaying Dorothy.. but the creators never wanted to put Dorothy in the musical.. Officially in the musical.. they always wanted to have her off stage.. like this is whats happening over here.. but the fact is .. the two intertwine .. and that is the one fault with Wicked.. but then again they couldnt because then fiyero, wouldnt make sense...because in reality ... They Redid the Scarecrow char. to fit their own storyline..
