Man I just need to watch and rewatch this when I’m questioning if the thousands I spend on my kids Christian private school is worth it. Emphatically yes it is!

This from a station that refuses to say Merry Christmas and is now concerned about a pagan moon goddess festival of animal sacrifice. Ironic.

@@littlebob1261since when has religion been allowed in public schools? They think they can come in and make their religion the priority. Sorry try again.

Calendars are usually set over a year in advance. Why didn't anyone speak up sooner? Support changing the date, but it does seem a little late. The district needs one of those calendars with all the holidays on it...

Umm, June is 5 months away

The quiet part outloud. They want their own ceremony with their own rules and they want the district to pay for it.

How many times have christian events or holidays have been ignored, removed by the Muslims because of their hurt feelings??? Christians have had enough. In the same analogy where men are trying to erase women. Muslims are trying to erase Christians. Why is it that schools and businesses have to accommodate only their religious beliefs? But not any other? We can't celebrate Christmas in schools. We can't take time off for our religious beliefs, days of importance, we can't pray. Yet we allow Muslims in the schools to leave for their religious reasons, some have pray rooms... we have to change our schedule to accommodate their religion. Now we can't graduate because of their religious event. There is supposed to be separation of religion and government, this includes schools. Keep the graduation date. Graduate on June 7th. Again 1200 students, and 20 or less are Muslims. Do you see the hypocrisy ?!

How many Christian holidays do you get off throughout the year? I believe you get Thanksgiving, Christmas,new Year and Easter Jack wagon. Besides that Christians are the most evil in history since the 1600 hundreds and have been pressing your beliefs on the whole world.

This celebration that involves more than one day & animal sacrifice/s, does not always fall on the same day. Difficult for the school to accommodate every single religion throughout the year. Do they call into work at the hospitals and other places of employment on this holiday? Do they still run their Uber businesses and the like? How does the school handle Hanukkah and the Jewish sabbath? How about Budddist holidays. Lots of questions. Need more news coverage and interviews. So this involves 20% of the school population? Is that rule by majority or by...?

Trust me, if the graduation were on easter, you would be raging. Christianity is not "the American Way". There is no one "American Way". That's the entire point of the country. This is incredibly disrespectful to the district's muslim students and parents.
@straightfromthefieldss4lif2292 күн бұрын
@@ItllBeFetch That wouldn't happen since Easter is on a Sunday genius. All of sudden America is supposed to bow down to Muslim Holidays? Never, move to a Muslim majority Country then.

As a pagan I have many holidays, but I would NEVER even attempt to make someone else, let alone an entire graduating class, accommodate me by adjusting their celebration of something for which they worked so hard. The date is set. Their holiday will come again. These kids only get one graduation. Even as a person of faith, the definite here and now always supercedes the possible hereafter.
