Last time I checked, Nigeria’s currency was still the Naira. Why are the prices in U.S dollars? Or is it because it’s all “imported”? Oh please, we need to change our mentality and values. I struggled to watch to the end because I am genuinely interested in the idea and will most likely be making further enquiries, but please, slow down on the hype of “imported and dollar quotes”, own your ideas and don’t sell yourself short. Imported has always meant luxury it’s not just them having a “fetish”. The issue of Nigeria importing too much is def an issue tho so home grown and local would be a better selling point

Nigerian leather for example is one of the best quality leather on earth yet we import cheap thrashy leather and thrashy leather products because we can't refine and process ours. Even though ours is more superior to almost 100% of what we import.
