‼‼IMPORTANT POINT: For Q 15b), on the Mark scheme it states that an answer of '7.5:3' only gains 2 marks and in order to gain three marks the answer must be '2.5:1' which doesn't make sense as even @Maths genie gave an answer of '7.5:3', as question never said to give it in a specific form.

Paper 1s will always be non-calc, the rest are calc. If your not sure, I’d say just try to answer all of the non-calc, it’s good practise anyway

a,b,c are not the radius, they are the diameter of the semi circles, he is halfing them to make them the radius. Then he does the second half after finding the area, so he finds the area of a whole circle with that radius, and he halfs the area since it is a semicircle

all probability adds up to 1 , so x can be anything lets say its 0.5, to get a total of 1 you need x and 1 - x or 0.5 in this case and 1- 0.5

On question 9 why do you not count the bottom face of the cube? surely you either count the face or don't take away 16 from the top. If you do both aren't you just not counting it at all? Can someone explain please

Because you can't see it on the surface, it asks for the surface area, however there is still some surface shown by the big cube so you have to minus the top of the cuboid with the bottom of the cube. Hope that helps❤

I'm a bit late considering that 2 weeks has passed by but, repetition is the key for exam papers. Usually questions in your exams are repeated the following year as the exam board don't update the question. If you understand the material you have revised and you continue to repeat similar question you will eventually find improvement whether that's minuscule or significant. If I was you for next exams if you decide to take sixth form I would revise the material I learnt in school at home then eventually do a topic test. This is so you can create a solid foundation for your knowledge on the topic and when you decide to revise it for a test the information you learnt will be flowing into your brain.

@@sefty6886 Just focus on past papers, don't waste your time on watching every video. Lets say your watching this past paper, get a piece of paper/notebook and write down the answer, if you got it wrong resume the video and see how the video was right. After that, for that same question you got wrong go to websites like Maths genie, corebett maths and write in the topic name, watch the video with total full concentration, and upmost precision, that should make you understand it better. The 3 maths papers have some type of synoptic links to each other. All are similar. Anyways hope for the best in the exam its not only tough for you but for everyone.
