Poe became my favourite series, can't really say why. Maybe because I missed being a traveler during the pandemic. All those videos are absolutely fantastic. And now, I get the chills (in a good way) everytime I hear "remarkable"! Also, I still hope to hear you singing again in a future video. Maybe "The Parting Glass". Just an idea that you'll hopefully find... well... remarkable. :)

What a treat to be the first to experience a new work by such a talented writer! How often does one get such an honor?🙂 It made me smile when ol’ Eddie was in the middle of an especially dark and grisly part of the tale, and he looked up to ask in a sort of chipper and polite tone “is it OK? What do you think?” 😆 I admire how you take on layers of character here - I found myself thinking “oh, it’s cool how Poe takes on the character of the protagonist (antagonist?)”l as he’s reading” but then I remembered that oh yeah; it’s PAUL taking on the character of Poe taking on the character of the pro/an tagonist. 😃 I don’t know if you did it on purpose, but “miles to go before I… reach my inn” made me smile too. 🙂

Lovely reading, Paul! It was perfect for this grey and dreary March day. I've read half of The Sentence by Louise Erdritch and there's a scene where the protagonist buries something that is unusually indestructible. It reminded me of The Tell-Tale Heart.

19th century writers, scientists,... I'm so happy this channel just got recommended to me by the infamously famous KZbin algorithm 7 minutes ago. Watched the latest Tesla video, subscribed immediately which I rarely do, watching this E. A. Poe one... I'm so wonderfully intellectually stimulated right now, I can't sleep anymore. I wonder if I should have stayed with the channels I watched before, those with, forgive my frankness, somewhat shallow girls, "brushing my hair" and what not. But at least they would make me fall asleep within minutes, that's how boring-soothing they were. Now that I found this guy, I'm so excited by his brain and taste and voice and costumes and overall performance, I'll be up all night watching all the videos here! 😂 No regrets, though. Well, yes, it seems random. But in my case, most of them are characters or themes I particularly like; not only things that are ok for me, things that I love. It's so werid, it's like when you hear a playlist in some place that could easily be your own. I suppose that's why he's one of my favorite ASMR creatos ever. Great minds think alike, I guess? ;)
