Welcome back! I've finally got round to making and uploading the next video! I totally embraced my inner Victorian Gothic with this journal and had an absolute ball using the Edgar Allan Poe digital kit from My Porch Prints as well as pages and ephemera of my own design.

I’m glad you enjoyed it! 😘 I tend to be quite picky about the themes of the books I make, so generally they aren’t for sale as they mean too much to me when they’re finished. I do occasionally make something on commission, but it’s always harder when the theme might not mean as much as if I were making it for myself 😬

Absolutely stunning! So many different techniques that I haven't seen before. All of your choices for this were spot on for the theme. I have always had a thing for EAP. I chose to memorize Annabel Lee my senior year of high school for Speech. That was 1989....sadly, I only remember parts of it, but I can just take out one of my many vintage copies of Poe's work and reread it. I have been collecting for a while, recently found a newer book specifically to use for junk journal ephemera. Thank you for this. So many ideas, so much inspiration! I can't not think of how stunning this is. I am positive this would sell within minutes if you changed your mind. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery....saved this flip through for when I get to my journal. Subscribed

I love your Edgar Allan Poe Journal!! Your inner Victorian Gothic self did wonderfully on making the journal dark, creepy, and brooding. The hidden tucks, and curious pictures seen through holes cut into the pages were inspired! I loved the floating pockets, too! There were so many magical parts to your journal, that I have never seen made before. Do you do Tutorials on how to make those? I'd love to learn from you! I am watching your video again, I like it so much. Is this an altered book or did you make the whole thing from scratch? I see many book pages from his stories and I am wondering. I have this kit all printed out from last year. Just never got around to making the journal and I am thinking an altered book for this one may be a good idea.

Not at all - ask away! The panel is actually just an embossed piece of black card which I then dry-brushed with gold paint.
