The big package IGBTs are being use for inverters for the driving of big Electromotors for 3 phase applications and they are very slow in terms of switching speed and usually consisted of 2 -6 IGBTs and a 3 phase rectifier diode

Do you think 2/0 awg 60mm2-70mm2 @5 ish meters in length plus a 170ah agm battery and a 200-220a alternator is good enough for 3000w monoblock plus 2x RD400/4

Ya it will be more than plenty. Rd400 is that the JL amp? If so those should be pretty efficient and they should have the max amps listed in the user manual, my guess is they say 60amps max but probably even less than that I would assume. and you didn’t say what 3k amp you are using either but that amp too should as well give you a suggested fusing rating. add together all the fuse rating(keep in mind this fusing rating is like a max worst case scenario) your not always going to be pulling the max 320 or so amps , especially under regular music playing. If you are planning to use 2/0awg welding cable it should be more than sufficient as I think they are rated for 200amps constant current and your system is never going to see anything close to that unless your the type of guy who drives around listening to 40hz test tones all day 😄

@@onesikm3 cheers Mate looking to get a teampie TP4000 should be plenty of power I don’t think I’ll ever use past 2kw to be honest but it’s there if I want it I think my stock 90a alt want do it so I think I might go for the powerba5tards 220a Alt or a stinger electrics 250a the 220a has a lower idle range to get the full 220a I think 1300rpm is good compared to reving the engine to get the current
