all due respect to you and your hard earned God of destruction, but Hwoarang is too risky to play with. True he got homing long rang heat engager, but all this other moves are liner and easy to sidestep and punish. Everything he does might miss or land, unlike Nina and drag! If you think he is really strong then play Hwoarang and post a video showing he easy and strong according to what you’re saying. Good luck!

I don't think Hwoarang is easy to play with. But same with Nina and Drag. If it was all that easy every pros would choose Nina and Drag. They all find what their style fit.

@ no, brother. Nina's cannon launcher, db 3+4, if blocked, she gets juggled into air, just like hwoarangs b3 if blocked. But they both also have df2 safe on block launcher. Hard or easy could be really subjective. So frame data can be used as standard, such as activation frame, on block minus frame. I personally find hwoarang difficult play against, long range, ss evasive move, etc. honestly, Imo, on no pro level, maybe something like Alisas chainsaw might feel bs, but even that comes with her not having other variety of moves. On top top pro level, cuz they use the characters to the fullest, a couple of frame advantage of a certain move can make difference, like Drag in the beginning. But even these things are patched. I do think some of the new characters with weapons annoying but most classic characters are pretty balanced. I play Nina, Alisa, Asuka. Now practicing Lee. Got one gold rank and a couple of blues.

@@Tko_Seven you right Hwoarang does have range but not as long range as Jin or feng! But I’m very inspired by edge, he took Hwoarang to top 4 that was insane! You have characters collection. I want to start to play with a female character but I haven’t managed to pick on yet!

@@han7x768 right. Jin or Feng are very annoyingly evasive and more gimmiky moves. But Hwoarang has the low high mix pressure. Not sure what ur rank is, but if you just play Hwoarang, there is a legendary Hwoa specialist in Korea, Maddog jin. He's old school, so not actively pro in 8. But his knowledge in Hwoarang is 2nd to none. There are pros who are just good with the game, and there are rare specialists who just specialize in certain characters. Look him up. He streams for Hwoarang clinic for the viewer with specific questions and situations. As for female characters, I recommend Azu or Reina to begin with.
