Owned a 2018 280CC for five years. Always stored high and dry on a jetdock. Had to replace both Yamaha 300 starters due to failure….never ever turn your motors off when offshore. Yamaha 300 trim seals failed in both motors. Also fresh water system distribution manifold cracked (plastic) and cannot be fixed without removing the entire center console….a major project we elected not to do since something else would likely get damaged in the process. Upholstery fell apart after 3 years even though boat was covered off-season. Other than these shortcomings, a good rig…and relatively dry ride.
