You and other teachers here are such a treasure for the people that didn’t have family or friends to teach us ❤️ Thank you for being so generous!

My mom always puts her thread through bees wax to make it stick together while she was beading. Eliminates the tangliness of the string... Just a tip.

So pretty, I wish I had the patience to try this . I would love to learn how to do beading on birch bark. That is so awesome and I would love to find out how to do it. Haven't been able to find any instructions for it but may be some day . But anyway your peices are beautiful. Thank you for sharing. 🤗💖

I like your patterns, very pretty. Pee-coe, the T is silent. I personally would end my thread through the back instead of cutting it off and melting the ends.

Omg!! Ms. Sarah...you really helped in ending the edging which I was having a real problem with.....your way is so much easier, than the other tutorials I viewed. Thank you very much.

Can you do this kind of edging even if you don't have rhinestone banding around your beadwork ? I'm making a medallion for my boyfriend and there's no rhinestones around the edges ,, just beads
@MsSarah52526 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. Just pretend your last row is your is your rhinestone and make your stitches 1/8 of an inch apart from each other, but make sure that you are feeding your thread under the last row of beads when you start your next stitch, otherwise you'll be able to see your thread over your last row of beads.

My question is when you are beading around the cabachon what type of beading are you doing? If you will? I suppose that’s another video. But are you doing the 1 or 2 thread stitch? Bead embroidery stitch? Please and thank you.
@MsSarah52526 жыл бұрын
I use 1 needle. I lay down 6 beads then then come back up between the 3rd and 4th beads and then through the 4th, 5th and 6th bead. Then I add another 6 beads and repeat.

I'm new to beading , about a month in. I already beaded a bunch of earrings but I don't know how to do the edging. Lol I just attempted and I hate it. Maybe I'm really picky who knows.

That is also something that I went through when I started beading. I played around with different edges. There are so many styles. Check out the vendors at events that sell beadwork. Ask if you could see how they do their edging. They might offer classes. And Pinterest has a lot of pictures of beadwork to scout for ideas. You might end up creating your own unique style.

Vee Marie this one can be harder to.keep clean. if u use banding to end your beadwork....bead one of those ^^ stitches in between each of the little stones on the banding. if u just don't plain like this stitch, look up picot edging.... that one a lot of beaders use and you can do different variations of this stitch. go onto fb and ask us beaders questions, many ppl will help you out and offer suggestions 😊

What are the rhinestones looking things called they look plastic
@nativejess80 Жыл бұрын
was great for the first edging but lost me on the second because you kept going out of camera lense. also, using a beading mat and scoop your beads instead of picking up one by one.
