There were so many hysterical moments in this one that I had a hard time deciding which one would be considered the #1 funny moment. I'm going to go with Olivia holding up the "No Thanks" coaster in response to Headology (awesome to see her on the show) casting Karn Liberated. That nearly killed me. The mic drop moment of the game goes to AliasV at 58:00 for her response to if she had ever seen Insurrection being played. Absolutely brilliant. 👍 Oh, and yes, I can confirm that Jim is indeed a fan favorite. At least a favorite of this fan anyway. Heckin' funny episode this week.

Great vids ladies...! Just for a note for anyone that is playing with an old version of sylvan library that was before the errata... The current wording on it is you may draw 2 additional cards during your draw step, put up to two back for each you don't put back pay 4 life. This is relevant if there's an effect out that stops you drawing additional cards in a turn for instance narset or spirit of the labyrinth because you don't get to see the extra cards

Olivia *could* have killed Ari: She had the mana to tap down her only flying blocker with the Shrine, then pump one angel with Nylea, for exact lethal (although i think she had 1 more angel than she should have, because I think she never removed the angel she created when she brought back the Sanctum, before realizing it was exiled and she couldn't)

Divine visitation goes against everything shrines want to do. Maybe playing it before the commander or blue shrine would have wasted enchantment removal while also making multiple shrines to at least draw 4 cards off it. I love shrines but token support makes them wack sometimes.

Of all the feel-bad ways to end a game, hard casting an insurrection after an hour of play when the other three players have a full turn rotation to try to solve it is definitely not one of them. Perfectly fair way to win!

I'm struggling to pick between orzhov tokens or abzan tokens... I have the poison tip archer for abzan but the orzhov version is so good and the mana base is a lot easier to navigate. Flying 10/10 that lets you draw a card for each dragon that attacks and then put a permanent from your hand onto the battlefield. 😥😥😥 Jim, Sylvan library dose not say reveal or show card(s). That was Oracle of Mul Daya and that is only the top card of the library.

If you have an Oracle of Mul Daya out and your Sylvan Library triggers, cards are drawn one at a time and the new top card is revealed after each card is drawn.

XD Olivia complaining that her crazy draw engine enchantment got exiled after that insane turn one ramp is so childish as to be expected with a show called elder dragon hijinks. She and everyone else knows she's immediately the arch enemy after a turn 1 like that at least for a few turns. Setting up any form of draw cards is begging for all removal to get pointed at you.

Pretty sure you finish each cascade before moving to next cascade so yes balefire would resolve first. Essentially the way I know cascade is it puts two on the stack, top cascade starts pulls balefire that resolves, etbs and all that then the second cascade starts and does it's thing. I play a yidris cascade deck.

As it feels so much more fair than turn 1: Mana Crypt, Mox Diamond (discard surplus land), Sol Ring and have 5 mana to play, anything you want (just using 5 cards no less). (there are faster ways to ramp but this kind of advantage feels like what rampy decks would normally do. And no I don’t play CEDH)

There's nothing more satisfying then a game of commander with every deck sort of popping off/showing what they can do/build a credible threat. Loosing a game that was fun, tense, felt like you had a chance and that everyone did is fun and satisfying. Winning it is obviously better, but loosing is ok.
