Such a ridiulously groovy band showcasing pure great musicality. Such a talented singer showcasing pure great musicality and charisma. The good old days when stuff like that really counted, and also was considered commercial enough to get radio play and was aired on MTV. Yeah, those were the days. I truly miss artists/bands like Edie and New Bohemians. Those two albums were on 24/7 here back in the days and are timeless.

girls like Edie make you glad to be alive. she says it all with her eyes. I was thinking "What is it she says with those eyes". i don't really know, but, it's there. it's there. the dog side of us maybe. You know, women and men are so different by nature. she exudes sweetness. It's literally emanating out of her. I don't know if she really connected with the song at that age. In the actual video, it seems like she does, but in performance, I think she was just too young. I think she just loved the stardom more than anything at that age (who'd blame her?). But, I connect with the song. Thing it's amazing. love the video.

I just saw the play "Bright Star," for which she wrote the musical score, at community theater. (Steve Martin wrote the story.). Wonderful music--very melodic--accompanied by a band with fiddles, mandolin, cello, viola, banjo, guitar, and stand-up bass. Very catchy, up-beat blue grass music. Edie is very talented!
