This particular model is an Anniversary edition - does anyone know how many were made? A website that was out of stock noted "Availability coming soon". If it is 50th Anniversary and limited edition, how to resellers receive more stock (or is this just "marketing")?

Is this watch worth it, in terms of all parameters? Wanted your opinion

I own the first variant of this watch, which I think retailed for €280 or there abouts when I got it. The features are really good - 5 alarms, bluetooth time sync / lap import, world time, I’ve used them all. And it has a solar battery (the watch survived Canadian winter just fine) which is huge because you don’t have to worry about breaching the seal when replacing a battery. I do have a couple of criticisms though - the watch light cannot be toggled on for more than a few seconds, so you can’t set the timer or use other features in the dark. The strap also has a non-standard configuration which makes finding a replacement, if needed, very difficult.

Actually, I just ordered this, since I am an avid lover of Casio, and wanted to keep a memoir of this company in the form of this limited edition watch. So that's why I was wondering whether I did the right investment. In terms of longevity, this series of Casio is up there, right?

I’m not sure how well regarded Edifice is. Certainly the watches seem reasonably priced for the range of features they offer. Also Casio is a well known and respected brand. I purchased my Edifice for two main reasons - the number of alarms (5) and solar power. I lost an old watch movement to water damage after battery replacement damaged the seal, with solar power this is not a problem. I also lead a fairly busy life, so I do need those alarms. Those features alone took quite a lot of research to find in a watch that isn’t a smart watch!
