So you CANNOT manually power off or power back on with the button? You need to use the case to power them back on IF they go to sleep? And what?! You can't set the controls to left = previous track & right = next track? And volume the same way also?
@gearupaaron2 жыл бұрын
Most earphones can't be powered off manually. Usually they shut when you place them in to the case or if they gave auto shut off (both of which this Edifier does). You can set up those commands you mentioned, but it's not, say, double tap on the left to volume up and double tap on the right to volume down. On the Edifier, you double tap to volume up, and triple tap to volume down (left or right, doesn't matter).

@@gearupaaron on ok I see. I know the Edifier TWS1 PRO earbuds have to be put back into their case to turn back on if they sleep cause you cannot long press on the touch sensors to turn them back on and have it reconnect to whatever its paired to. You HAVE TO put them back into their case. But the SoundPEATS Free2 Classic earbuds CAN be turned off AND back on with a long press. I think they can auto shut off if they don't notice any audio but if they DO shut off you can long press for like 2 seconds and they'll turn back on. Without even needing to drop them back into their case.

I m bass lover. * Edifier W240TN *Earfun Air 3 pro Which is better Bass & Sound???
@gearupaaron9 ай бұрын
Bass would go to the Edifier, while the Earfun edges it out in other aspects of SQ (just barely).

Thanks for the review. Looks like the quality to price ratio is a bit questionable on these. Speaking of which, thanks for the shoutout of the Soundcore Life A3i's! I got a great one day deal on them ( $50 in Canada) and they are the best TWS value for money I've ever spent! Fantastic earbuds! And kind of under the radar with all the new more expensive product that Soundcore are currently featuring. They are my go to's for sure. Take care!

Edifier is definitely trying. 1More used to be that way, and now look where they are. Plus, Edifier has a much bigger portfolio and they're only just starting to focus on their earbuds business.

@@gearupaaron So many ways to get quality without spending the top dollar the big names want. Although, there's absolutely a place for those too! It's great that the earbud and headphone market gives us so many options. It's a new world that way, over the last few years. And what you get for what you pay keeps improving by the month it seems. It's a fun hobby for me to have , and for you to share your thoughts and expertise on 🙂 And I always appreciate your gentle and witty style!

Hey just discover your channel, I really like sound profile of Edifier, I cannot live without the 3.5mm jack but if I buy a tws, it's definitely Edifier (cuz I'm poor and always ask for the best p/p).

Thanks so much for your post! You're right on - Edifiers are a great combo of price and SQ. Hope you visit this channel real soon... More good stuff all the time! (At least, I assume they're good, lol)

great review. to me, the stupidity of the buttons controls (same control left and right) is a strong deterrent

Hey Aaron, I'm happy that I listened to your review on these. No need to wonder about these anymore because I do have the Soundpeats Mini Pro (original) and Soundcore Dot a3i already. Both of which I really enjoy. I would like to hear your opinion of the fact that it uses only the SBC Codec and how this, in your opinion, affects the sound compared to the other 2 that I have. As always, appreciate the shower!
@gearupaaron Жыл бұрын
Hey David, having SBC doesn't negatively impact the SQ. It would be nice to have the extra flexibility of other codecs, but it works just fine.
