If the forecast is correct and people are injured the organisers will be liable and they will be uninsured. If people want to go to Princes Street of their own accord that's up to them. 50mph is not a moderate wind. It's a 9 on the Beaufort Scale, a severe gale which can cause slight structural damage to buildings e.g. blow slates off roofs etc
