I followed the penguins back into tgeir enclosure when i was a wee boy. Thankfully I was spotted by a keeper or i would still be there.

Loved the interview with Andrew Ross senior towards the end in J & R Glen's bagpipe makers shop. Valerie Singleton said they'd been making bagpipes in that shop for over 200 years, which is a lot of nonsense - J & R Glen had the shop from the 1910s (Andrew Ross bought it in the late 40s, but kept the name), before that it was a hosier, a draper, and then a long list of grocers, my great grandad being the last grocer in the 1880s

Was it the late 70's? It may have been the early 80's. A Japanese tourist was in the Castle and sat on a wall getting her photo taken when the gun went off. She got such a fright she jumped backwards falling to her death sadly. Don't know if her companion managed to get the picture taken though?

They made the classic mistake of editing in the Balmoral clock at one o'clock. The Balmoral clock is always two minutes ahead, the reason? to assist train-catchers in the below Waverley Train station.

Good to see a Scottish video with no ethnic Yanks (Americans from the USA) on it for a change, very refreshing, feels more distinctly Scottish.
