Be more useful if Rankin could pick up some writing tips from Muriel .....rather than churning out the turgid drivel that passes for his ' prose style ' ? The thought of him being associated with Ms Spark as a fellow " author "...!? !? Jesus. I know Scotland is short of celebs but even so.....
