I visited Holyrood last Christmas and it was amazing! I was bummed I couldn't take pictures of the trees they had inside

@@akdstralisjnr4002 I'm not sure if it's all year round, but they had signs for no photography. If I remember correctly, it was to protect the privacy of those who still utilize the palace sometimes

Also… at the 17:30 mark you show the Heart of Midlothian, that shows where the old jail used to be and also where the gallows where. The locals never walk on it as it’s seen as bad luck and they also spit on it to ward off any evil spirits that may still be lurking there. Jut across the road and up a wee bit is the Deacon Brodie pub, Deacon Brodie is the real person that the story of Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde is based on

S,much history there and much of it gory…. Not wanting to give you the heebie jeebies but looks like your hotel was next door to where Burke and Hare lived….. I’ll let you google them lol
