This is my capitol city i don't live here i stay in a small village outside Glasgow in bridge of weir but i visit Edinburgh every year at xmas and its an awesome destination just love the people and the atmosphere so friendly and inviting you will never meet a more inviting city in the world.

Please don't just visit Edinburgh. For a true picture of Scotland, visit cities like Glasgow, Inverness, Aberdeen, Sterling and Dundee. Our small towns like Oban, Perth and Mallaig are not to be missed. We have great scenery in the Border Region, rolling hills. The beauty of the Highlands and Islands is breathe taking. Glencoe, Mull, Skye, Speyside to name just a few areas. If you want History and Castles, we have that in bucket loads Céad Míle Fáilte, A Hundred Thousand Welcomes.

Just beautiful! I went to Scotland for the first time last year and I just love it there. My advice ...do NOT go in August 😂I didn't realise there was so much on!! Next time I will visit in July 🥰
