It is in these truly troubling times that we turn to a soul who is so inspiring to take possession of the leadership of the United States. We need and hope that Cornel West will be voted President in 2024.

Phenomenal. “We love you John Coltrane… A love supreme.” So much joy. The ending here embodies it all. I’ve watched all these letters now and am just blown away. Thank you for uploading these so we can witness this.

"Yes indeed" C. West. Thats an example of the small things that salted the series with flavor! (shout-out to Queen La'). The brilliant series has humbled me to realize that I will probably die as an ignorant man.

I think he meant "John Cage" when he said "Black people didn't need Phillip Glass to teach us about silence." Speaking of types of silence and speaking though, I wonder what he would make of Julius Eastman (especially his contrast with John Cage, vis-a-vis conceptions of homosexual self-silencing...).

Cornel needs to focus on his kids and pay his child support, he is years in arrears. Plus he is delinquent in his Fed income taxes. Back in the Sixties we called people like Cornel "Poverty Pimps". Heck, he didn't even support Obama in 2008.

How can West talk about love when he left his first wife soon after the birth of their first child, broke up a marriage according to Forbes magazine, and produced a love child with an aspiring academic who was sent back to her home country to raise their child alone, as a single mother? How? Someone tell me, please.

How is it that anyone owes you an explanation in public for another person’s private family matters? This is a lecture on philosophy, not a nomination for your church’s next pastoral care provider.

First of all getting divorced or splitting up from your spouse does not define who you are or what your character is. Relationships break up all the time because they involve another person that you cannot control and that you are not the god over. The statistics show overwhelmingly that most marriages in the US end up in divorce and most relationships don't last more than 12 months. So so it does not discredit him at all that his relationship didn't work out for whatever reason they did not work out. That has nothing to do with what he brings to the table as a genius academic, intellectual, educator, humanitarian, candidate for US president, philosopher, shall I go on? No need to, if you have any sense then you get the sense by now. And another false light that you've told which is defamation of character, Cornel West did financially support all of his children as part of co-parenting arrangements. So there you have it. He has every right and has earned every right to be on this stage and that's why he is on this stage

@@a1travel692 I wasn't commenting on his divorce, but the infidelity during his marriage...and since when does one's decisions around the most intimate of relations have nothing to do with your philosophy and run for president?
@a1travel6925 ай бұрын
@@LetsTalk-wf5vj First off, you gave a false statement. His relationship issues stemmed from his spouse having secret male relationships behind his back..and this he did the same thing in return. Infidelity was mutual...thus..those actions cross cancel. He wasnt a habitual infidel..for the record. But even if he was, running a country and falling out of love with a human being that u have no ownership or control over, are completely separate things and this null and void. Romance and running a country are 2 things that don't have anything in common with each other. So it's dishonest and fraudulent to even attempt to apply that one has anything to do with the other. On a side note, because I know my research in and out. Every president in US history were infidels and had multiple women in addition to their wife. George Washington included. Just a little food for thought for you. Anyhow, they are mutually exclusive so I will not belabor the point. Being the president of a country is all about your commitment loyalty humanity, and dedication to your fellow countrymen. And countries sink and swim based off those characteristics fully executed in the president. In contrast, there's never been a country that's failed due to a private romantic relationship LOL. I rest my case. The jury can go home now
