You like Karma Cut for it's tactical flexibility and meta relevance. I like Karma Cut because Warrior Lady of the Wasteland should get what she deserves. We are not the same. I've always loved Iron Wall + Grave of the Super Ancient Organism. Given enough time of meta development, might be 1 year, might be 10 years, Grave of the Super Ancient Organism will be meta defining.

Cards like Miracle Fusion are some of my favorite types of cards. They make you look at decks and go “how can I use this?”. Just its existence has boosted the viability of WATER monsters, for example, as we probably wouldnt be hard making Abszero. Like, imagine the brews there would be if a card like Necro Fusion was in the format? A lot of love for big payoff cards that incentivize you to build around them that other decks that don’t “don’t get to have”.

Banger video man. With DDV being on the rise, I'm not predicting but rather suggesting that any deck that includes Heros, ROTA, Grepher or any sort of Warrior engine, D. D. Assailant should be considered more and more in the side instead of Warrior Lady as a searchable out to cards like Kristya or Vanity's Fiend considering it's immunity to DDV. That card's underrated imo

It's pretty insane how much synergy Heros and frogs have, considering how long it took for it to become meta. Stratos and Alius can contest the board early to draw out monsters to then caius, evil guy is that extra body, that you're always missing before you have treeborn access, Rota can fetch you junk synchron and miracle fusion gives you a boardwipe, extra damage for lethal pushes and a plan B for when you lose treeborn to a crow, not to even mention, that it's one of the few decks, that can properly pump Abzero. Looking back it's crazy how much shit people used to play in frog monarchs just to fill 40 cards.

I don't think he likes MBAAS. I think it can be ok early game if you can pidgeon-hole your opponent into playing into it, but it can definitely miss against things like Ryko, Icarus, Gyzarus, etc that don't have to target a monster. Not being able to work in the damage step is also a crime and one of the many Edison rulings that are scuffed.

Ryko eats my body as a shield and it's one of the reasons why the card isn't played: you can't chain it in dmg step to ryko, while if you set it, ryko pops the set my body and caius clears something else.

I havent had good results with my body as a shield. Countering ddv would be cool but my body as a shield doesnt work if your monster is set during ddv. I much prefer trap stun

my controversial prediction is that edison is cooked unless anti-graveyard decks start to come into the meta. maybe something like eatos gb with dimensional fissures mained. if not then i see frog otk becoming out of control

@E3YuGiOh Maybe not now because of course is relatively unknown to the majority, and for sure at least in the short term won't have the popularity that bw or vayu have, but its powerlevel is already undeniable since it topped in worlds at 5th place, shek won a 100 people event with the same identical list that topped worlds, and in Italy a very very similar list won like an absolute juggernaut in a 190+ live event.

The Fishborg Frogs match up has a learning curve and you will lose to it several times before you start beating it but the deck isn’t going to take over the meta. Many of the cards predicted to rise up in 2025 counter the deck. My locals has a player who top 8 our nationals with it and he is no longer getting top 2 every event like he used to.

usually brutdrago is worse then stardust. cant beat ryko, cant beat bottomless, and also cant beat a set dyna which happens everytime you play gigaplant for example. its most of the time the worse option
