Opp can be activated in response to a ss so u cant activate it after dust as dust isnt a ss (you can also chain block ) if you summon bliz and activate whirlwind as cl2 they cant opp bliz

27:35 when Darius tags out, the monster he special summoned gets shuffled back into the deck. It appeared that the GB player was attempting to tag out laquari which was brought back by Darius.

3:43 wrong! the monsters are marked as destroyed by battle in substep 4, while flip effects are activated until substep 6. Edit. NVM, Samnite also needs to send the monster to GY and in this case, is the chariot which does.

In Game 1, had he gone for Secutor instead of the Samnite given he had Chariot behind vs your Ryko that game would've likely ended way sooner lol

Once you burial for the 3rd dark he should of instant crow hit the plague regardless it’s gone and you have 2 darks he could of won game 2 if he would of crowed right when you burial

Trying to constantly predict is not good commentary its a natural thing to do especially in competition but it doesn't hit the ear right since the viewer is already thinking everything you're saying

3:16 If I know I have a War Chariot set and I see a set with my GB War Chariot, I'd go Samnite back into Secutor, attack with Secutor into the facedown, then if it's Ryko, negate it with War Char: EOB, go Laquari + Equeste to add back my War Chariot. 4:00 So Samnite doesn't destroy the Ryko by battle. It's because the resolution of Samnite's effect happens at substep 7. So it goes Ryko in substep 6, which was negated by War Chariot. Chariot was going to be live either way by the way. (Since you had 3 Rykos *cough*) 5:00 I think rushing out the Silverwind was the play, because you needed more pressure and you woulda saved a 4th/5th Vayu (I count using Burial as your 4th and 5th Vayu). 6:30 Call is standard because if there's a Gyzarus in grave, you can SS it with COTH and activate Gyzard's effect. 10:10 Eric Shen didn't play Foolish Burial in his list. It actually benefitted you in the long run that your Rykos got NOCed since the mills would have forced Dad to be dead. (It's ironic) 27:10 Julio being more aggresive with the Bestiari. I like it. Comment: I've really noted this matchup a lot and GBs are always the control deck, if you can't keep the tempo against GBs and get them to where they need to answer 2 boss Monsters. Even leaving only one 2300/2800 body means that GBs already have the tempo advantage. It's such a tough deck to face as VT. Like Oppression/DaD is the cheat card that gives VT the advantage. xD.

I agree with everything said above. The Ryko set into the backrow was especially bad because it lets Julio go into Secutor attack the set Ryko chariot and then he can tag in besti and something equeste bounce the chariot and contact into gyzarus to clear your board with a call set just incase it dies somehow for the full blowout.
