ben played fine until the turn he summoned hand g1. even besides forgetting the gilmans 1700, he could have summoned GM1 to get 2 counters, sac it to pop then summon the other grandmaster to get the 4th counter then add a sam for followup normal while still having hand+ gm2 which dealt with that d prison

Creighton was legit so upset with how that game ended. I don’t think he expected that d fissure to hurt him as bad as it did but honestly given his hand already had miracle in it, I’m shocked he didn’t pop that with the spark just to be able to keep playing.

Tunel vision. Gateway is a scary card but he didn't consider the implication of Fissure not allowing him to do anything meaningful.

Its not tunnel vision at all. It's if gateway stays he loses almost instantly, if fissure stays he can maybe draw another out to it over the next few turns @ookamigenji-pv2st

@@LegacyRetroFormats I mean, it’s not about how he drew. He drew fine if he had gotten rid of the d fissure. His hand could control board and he could navigate. I really think he just didn’t realize how bad the d fissure was for his hand or deck and was way more worried about the gateway
