Very nicely done video and a nice longcase home phonograph too. I'd like one with this repeating mechanism, but have not acquired one yet.

Thank you Ian, and as the saying goes "good things come to those who wait". Not very common but not impossible either, best of luck.

+grikor1 I bought a drip pan Gem that was cosmetically in very poor condition and decided to have it partially restored. Greg Cline was suggested by the E-bay seller and he has done a beautiful job on the black enamel/decals. The other mechanical jobs I will do over the next year.

This Machine FASCINATES Me!! Cylinder Record`s And Phonographs are already Fun to Watch! This makes Cylinders even More Cool! Where Did You get this AWESOME Vince Giordano`s Nighthawks Cylinder?? And Are they still Making Music?? This Sounds like it`s straight from the 1920`s! Most other bands sound Mousy and silly! Rink a tinkie ! This sounds AWESOME The Vocalist, Has the singing down! No Trying to sound Nazely and doing funny half Yodel`s!

What is the best way to clean a dirty bedplate safely? There is no paint loss to the black enamal but it does have built-up scum so that sections have lost their shine because this covers what is below. The pin striping is original and in very good looking condition with little loss. (Edison Home Model A with Brass Mandrel. Circa 1898.)

+Musique3579 I do not have much experience in cleaning bedplates, join any of the following FB groups and ask the members there. You would find a lot of good advice and experienced people: facebook.com/groups/phonograph/ facebook.com/groups/905140139507160/
