I work at a EA gaming industry, its the budget and time schedule they have to follow, yes EA is diff from Frontier, but they all follow the same style of work

Because there's a massive difference between making mods and making Games. When you make mods, you can make it at your leisure. You have no set deadlines besides the ones you set for yourself. When you're making a video game, the deadlines are set by the higher ups, and if you can't meet the deadlines, you're penalized. If you consistently fail to meet deadlines, you end up fired.

It's also worth noting that not everyone finds these things appealing. Half the battle is figuring out what an audience is looking for, not just what a specific group of that audience wants.

I get what everyone is saying about deadlines and stuff but I think it'd be smart to at least pay these modders for their creations. For example Pokémon; a lot of fan creations are so much better than their original designs, no one is saying hire a KZbinr, but why not just buy the rights to their designs, they could make so many dlc's for games like this if they did it that way. And yes I'm aware that would probably cost a fortune, but still as an idea on paper I like it lol

This just made me realize how cool it would be if there were different styles for the Lagoon. Like for example there could be a Shallow area which can be themed around like a Beach or something, a Reef area themed around the Great Barrier Reef, and a Cavern Area which is really deep and has a bunch of rocks and bubble geysers

Whoever takes the deinosuchus and makes it behave like an actual crocodilian (can go in and out of water as it pleases, ambushes dinos from the water, etc.) I'd give them the title of JWE2 god.

Interesting theory regarding swapping out Pachyrhinosaurus for Sinoceratops; perhaps an appeal to China and that sweet, sweet Chinese box-office? (Sinoceratops was discovered in China whereas Pachyrhinosaurus was a North American dinosaur).

Pachyrhinosaurus wasn't replaced by Sinoceratops, it was renamed. The animal currently called "Sinoceratops" in the Jurassic franchise was the filmmakers design for a "Pachyrhinosaurus" but after seeing the trailer many fans identified the animal (whose name was not yet revealed) as Sinoceratops and therefore the filmmakers changed the name. Mattel based their toy off of the actual animal and not the film design and that's why Mattel's accurate Pachyrhinosaurus toy is labeled as "Sinoceratops"

@@WhoElseButJarjosa I do think they were. The kiddie Walking With Dinosaurs film had released shortly before Fallen Kingdom did, and someone probably thought it would be a good idea to rip of Patchy a little. Then took a rather unpopular theory about Pachyrhinosaurus had a horn.

@@VelociraptorsOfSkyrim yeah they definitely ripped off WWD, the concept art for JWFK shows that it initially had one hole in its frill. I believe it was meant to be an injury that only one member of the species had. Also the horns/spikes at the top of the frill curves forwards similar to WWD but they curved it too much and it ended up resembling a Sinoceratops, but tbh it's not a good Sinoceratops design either. The filmmakers ended up creating their own genus lol.

12:50 we know exactly why it was replaced - Chinese money. The Chinese market won’t watch movies without any Chinese representation, so they replaced the pachyrhinosaurus with a similar looking dinosaur with “sino” in its name.

The reality is far dumber than you think it is,The Sinoceratops was supposed to be a Jurassic World Pachyrhinosaurus(the nose horn and more spectacular frill would've probably been attributed to genetic modifications I assume) but at the launch of the first trailer, several JP fans and media outlets then picked up their cue in calling the animal a Sinoceratops, which in turn, led to it being called Sinoceratops in JP/JW canon too

The only downside to being a console player (besides lag) is you can't have any mods. I don't want to pay the hefty price for a PC that can run games well so all I can do is hope frontier adds at least some of this into the base game.

I would suggest for editing lagoon terrain you get Open lagoons, free build, expanded terrain tools, and maybe a few others

Sorry, but Frontier took money from me in exchange for a video game. If they were doing it free of charge I'd give them all the slack they wanted, but the tripe they shat out in the form of Evolution 2 is inexcusable for a full-priced game. It's barely an upgrade from the first game, and in some ways even worse (why can't I make cameras in my enclosures for checks? Why do I need to micromanage all my employees?). I don't know if the modders are being modest or if they're secretly Frontier developers making mods on their own time, but they need to give themselves more credit as far as making this sequel actually good goes. And maybe I'd give Frontier more slack if they'd stop lying and be honest about why the game is glorified DLC for the first game, but they never will. They'll just give us PR doublespeak and continue to deliver dogshit on a silver platter.

@@NanuqEditzS They only crash your game if a new update comes out, and then only possibly, and you can always restore the original game files to fix it if you make a backup folder of everything you replace. Plus, mods are only on your device, they don't come with your game on steam, so you can always just delete the game off your device and reinstall it, you won't lose any of your progresss or anything, I have done ot before.
