I think the black acts as a neutral background, causing the Edith Holden images to really stand out! It is a wonderful combination! Elegance and botanicals. What a delicious combination! Thank you! Su

I think you know that us, your subscribers, think that everything that you do is just awesome and perfect. I love to watch you craft and I totally relate to trying to plan a page, and moving things all around. That is the fun of crafting! We can play to our hearts content! I love the black paper collection you are using. So dramatic yes, but also quite chic and unusual.

Amazing! For me Edith Holden was new, so I search and found a load of info about her and her art. So delicate, thanks for introducing me with her. And the black completed it

Hi Tina, I love all the different colors of the Edith Holden pages. Even though the pages are predominantly black you added just the right colors of things to match the pages and they’re all different colors. If that makes sense...like one page is purple and one is like the aqua color etc. The journal is coming out lovely. I can’t wait to see what you do with the rest of it. Hugs 🤗

I think that black is so elegant and they complement the Edith Holden pages really nicely. Watch out for a few lookalikes. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery as they say. Sorry about your headache, it’s so miserable waking up like that. Take care. 🌸

Morning Tina, WOW, this page is FABULOUS............. love the Edith Holden and your fabulous papers, the black is so beautiful, it makes it all so vintagy (is this a word) and elegant. I agree with Robyn Bennett, I would love to carry on with you and this magical journey. I can just imagine how it would turn out, would love to watch your process of creating another wonderful piece or even pieces. Blessings and hugs from Cape Town. Diana. P.S. My Edith holden is being secretly hoarded, every time I take it out, I feel guilty (because I can't get another one) and I end up putting back on the shelf with my other books. Maybe seeing the book there everytime I go into my art room, I must just give in and use it. Here's hoping!!!!!
@shabbydabbydoodah3 жыл бұрын
Lol, yes I hoarded my original Edith Holden book for a really long while, I am only being so free using it now because I have other copies! 🤭. Yes, I think vintagy is a word......well in our junk journal world anyway! Haha. Have a great day, take care x

Hi Tina, I have a question totally unrelated to this video but I was going through some of your videos and thinking about old books. Is there anything you do to treat or sanitize your books from thrift stores or yard sales? Some of them can have slight mold. I was really curious what you do or check for. Thank you, Sandra.
@shabbydabbydoodah3 жыл бұрын
I don’t tend to do anything to the books I buy. I don’t buy a book if it’s too bad, but I know what you mean sometimes they can be a little on the whiffy side. Bicarbonate of Soda can help with smells x
