Well done. Liked and subscribed. 👍 I have had LR6 on my computer for more than 10 years until my computer died recently. Now I have a monthly subscription to LRC and it is like learning all over again. Lots to learn but videos like this are very helpful. Love your enthusiasm.

This is the first of your videos that I’ve watched Chiapas and really impressed and good to see a video on straight forward processing. I’m a bit of a novice with editing and also not a big fan of it but ok in making subtle changes. Love my bird photography so will now subscribe. Keep up the good work. 😀👍

It was really great and understandable thank you for this video, specially with the really light color grading I found that super as it makes the bird looks more natural, I’ll definitely follow this way you showed

Excellent tutorial Chiara! My workflow is very similar to yours. I tend to try Topaz AI before LR denoise as I like having more control but sometimes Topaz just can't get it right though. Then I go back to LR and try again. I haven't had a chance to use the point colour tool yet as I've only just upgraded but I will check it out!

Great video Chiara! My workflow is very similar to yours but for the masks I use Photoshop because the version of Lr doesn't have this option

Very nice explanation, thank you for this wonderful effort. But I edit photos using Photoshop because it has the feature of removing unwanted blemishes. Photoshop also has the same features as Lightroom. I really benefited from this explanation. Finally, thank you again for your wonderful effort.
@chiaratalia_wild6 ай бұрын
Of course all that has been done here can also be performed in Photoshop. I prefer Lightroom as it is much leaner and user-friendly :) Photoshop has so many other features that are not really needed for a photographers. Anyway removal of stuff can be done also in LR, although for big manipulations it is definitely not working well as PS.

Thank you for this tutorial. Please allow me the liberty of giving some feedback with regard to the audio of this video. There is a slight reverberation, causing your voice to be harsher than it truly is🤗 Again, please excuse me, but if you can find a way to dampen the noise slightly, your wonderful voice will come out clearer. Respectfully, MK

Hey Marty, thanks a lot for your message! On that day I had a problem with my mic cable so I had to use the laptop mic (not ideal 😂). But I got a new one immediately after as I agree it is not extremely pleasant to listen at!

Hi Chiara our editing is very similar, but one thing I noticed you leave the profile on Adobe Colour, personally I don't like this profile and always change it to the Canon profiles I just think colours look so much better.
@chiaratalia_wild Жыл бұрын
Hey Tony, I also use the Canon profiles. In this case as the tutorial was already quite long and already with lots of info I preferred to leave it as default not to overload beginners 👍

Chiara - 1 comment - don't trust Lightroom's RAW edits and presentation of your RAW file. Lightroom applies an edit to your RAW file and it is not the *true* indication of the RAW data. ONLY rawdigger will construct an accurate representation of the image from your raw sensor data (and its histogram is far more accurate than Lightrooms etc).
@davepastern5 ай бұрын
I am not picking on Lightroom btw - my comment applies to other RAW editing software (C1 pro, Canon DPP etc).

It's just my opinion, but everybody is just creating images not photographs.
@chiaratalia_wild Жыл бұрын
I am not sure I fully understand what do you mean. Do you mind elaborating further? 🙂
@thomasneal7126 Жыл бұрын
It goes back to the days of Ansel Adams. @@chiaratalia_wild He was a master at dodging and burning all his photos. Where we do it with photoshop he was using a homemade contraption to do it. The Old purest have always said a true photograph never gets manipulated, that once you do you are creating image art. I guess I am purest. I hate to see people get into photography and get frustrated and give up when their photos don't look like the others they see. They never learned that all the photos they see have been manipulated in software and don't come out of the camera that way. That is why in my opinion I say it becomes an image instead of a photograph. but to each his own not judging.
