Love the Vid! Just couple things that might speed up your workflow even more! 1) You can select all the clips > and right click > Scale to Frame Size. This is just an easier way instead of manually scaling it! 2) Instead of slowing down the 60fps clips to 50%, I found better results by Select all clips in bin that are 60fps > Right click, Modify > Interpret Fotoage > "Assume this frame rate" to 23.976 then you'll find all your clips are already in slow motion and you can do your I/O starting from slow motion! 3) You can add an adjustment layer ontop of your clips and color grade your footage there! so you can put a "blanket" LUT on top of all your clips then adjust as you go along instead of doing it one by one!

Hey man, thank you for taking your time making tutorials for us, really appreciate it a lot. Don’t mind me but yeah I’m just gonna let it out.. My mum passed away 2 months ago, it’s still fresh in my mind and time really flies. I was feeling down the whole time as days fly past being in my room and not going out as much but yeah I came across your videos and it sparked my interest in shooting cars or even motorbikes. Reminded me of 6-7 years ago I used to edit cinematic videos of cars in GTA 4/5. Now I’m thinking of filming cars irl too, bought an a6600 two days ago, will be making a video on my motorbike soon. Can’t wait to have my first video edited and progress forward. Your tutorials are really easy to understand and are really helpful. Thank you so much dude. For whoever is reading this, bring your mum out for dinner, get her gifts, do anything to make her smile.. no matter how many times she gets mad at you even at little things, the reason behind it is that she loves you. I loved my mum so much yet she went away in a sudden. She was Healthy the day before but fell the next day due to aneurysm and passed away 3 days later.. I’m going to try and film and hopefully I will continue making more. I wish everyone who’s starting out all the best.

im on the same page man, my dad passed away this year. it was tough.. he was a photographer as well, and was awarded the best photo journalist in our country at one point.. i couldnt achieve the level of success he had in news photography.. he was never disappointed at me for not having that same level of achievement.. but i always wanted him to see how i can apply all the things he taught me as a photographer when i establish my own business focused on automotive media.. sadly he passed away before i could even start.. i finally bought my first video DSLR this year and will push through with the plan.. and i will continue even though he is no longer here.. i just thank my dad everyday for giving me the necessary skill to start this business. and i hope i can pull it off for him

@@paulocuento9949 Hey man, thanks for sharing your story too. I wish you all the best for your business. There will definitely be times where we feel like giving up, definitely a tough battle for us losing someone we love but I’m sure they are proud of us regardless. I’m still struggling but yeah slowly I guess.. Anyway do you have an insta/Facebook page? I wouldn’t mind following you, hopefully we may cross paths in the future with the mutual interest that we have :)

I've watched so many videos on colour grading. Many have lead me to believe I am incable of doing it at all, because they all claim they know the one true way to grade and a colour blind person can't possibly get it right. You've managed to communicate the "how-to" in such a way that makes it seem far more artistic and significantly less clinical than others would have you believe. Thanks for this amazing tutorial. I even picked up on a few tricks Pr I hadn't used in the process. I feel a lot more confident in my ability to create in the last 15 minutes than I ever got in my 2 years in 3D animation college. They really pushed "the right way" kind of thinking which I simply couldn't compete with. But the reality is, that mentality simply cannot keep up with today's rappidly growing indie style content creation. Your artistic perspective is a credit to KZbin. I can't wait for the next episode! You're the man!

youre my hero bro... i commented on one of your posts about trying my very first video shoot.. i managed to pull off my first auto/moto cinematic video.. it was a million times harder than i expected. but i pushed through with some faith.. my shoot was ugly, but the guy who edited my video was gracious enough to make it work... that first session taught me a lot of new things which i will carry on to the next shoot. thanks for the inspiration my man!

This mini-tutorial series of car cinematics are very educational! Thank you Mr Spam :-)) I have myself been shooting cars for a couple years now (stills) and have just recently started to film as well. I have already put out a few videos, but I still got a way to go to reach this pro looking super duper eye candy porn! By the way, just a little curiosity: is there a particular reason you don't use the Right Click -> Scale to frame size? I literally ALWAYS do that, but is it much different from doing the manual scaling?
@spamsubie4 жыл бұрын
Yo! Glad you're finding this series helpful :) For the scaling part, I like to adjust the value that way because sometimes I don't always scale to 50 - sometimes I'll scale to 75%, etc
