Thanks for your prompt response. I saw that in the software when you select the FR7X, in the Orchestra Chord Registes settings you can make some DRUM adjustments in the edit tab, but my accordion is the FR1X....

Thank you for this and all previous videos with such valuable information on this instrument. I keep learning a lot from these entertaining excurses... (Allthough I am far away from actually using the drums, as I struggle with the most basic songs - only started to play 2 months ago). Concerning the letters on the tiny display: In the user manual appendix is a list of all letters of the alphabet and their corresponding display values. In my opinion, only a few characters need some sort of interpretation, like the "M", as you mentioned or the "W" that looks like an upside down A. Greetings from Cologne, Germany!

Hi, Joe. I got my FR-1X a few months ago when Roland dropped the price by $1,000. I’m slowly learning all the features, and I wish there was a way to make bass drums sound richer. Did you find a way to edit the way the bass side sounds? I’d love to have a floor rom-Tom sound when I press the bass button, and high hats when I press the bass chord. My favourite on the treble so far is Orchestra Clarinet 3C. It sounds very nice paired with some drums on the bass side. Thanks for your videos. They are helpful.

Hi and thank you for viewing. The drums are very limited as to what you can do with them. I am sure you have seen that you can change the drum set and drum level. The problem is that those are really the only drum specific items to edit on the 1x. When I look at the software and check out the FR-7x editing, I see you have options to link Bass and Cord Drum Link. When I have time I am going to do some playing with that because if you make a change there and then export the set, then open it in the 1x you will see the settings saved. The problem is that I don't think the sound system on the 1x is able to use those changes. I believe it is a hardware limitation - which is not surprising with the cost difference between them. I love the Orchestral Clarinet (3C) also - it is fantastic with dual mode. I also enjoy the harmonica.
