Thanks for this. This software is so clunky. Coming from using Photoshop and Illustrator to this is really frustrating. So many less tools and just these awkward work arounds for doing basic cut/paste. Appreciate the tutorial.

u r awesome !!! thank u so much!!! the only thing I do not know how 2 do is when I am done editing and I save it, it goes 2 cloud and do I just get it from the cloud and is it the SVG so I can add my edited version of my now new clip 2 my uploads...

It’s easier to click on the picture then hit group and then click ungroup and then everything can be individually move around.

Please, if you can, would you tell me where you found that image. My Google searches result in numerous images using the same words but none have the swirl of the "S" that form the trunk. I adore the project! I saw that image a long time ago but I didn't own a Cricut then and couldn't possibly cut it by hand! Please, please, please tell me where to find the image!

Question after I finished editing an image (or so I thought) I realized that I needed to make some changes but my PC is a jerk and put it on the canvas before I could actually confirm. Do I have to start all over again editing (which took forever) or is there a way I can edit an image after I edited it?

Thanks this helps a lot I uploaded a image but couldn't change the colors but how do you do it when it is not words like a race car or butterfly. Where you can't separate it like the words

pgrandt1 You were most probably trying to slice with more than 2 layers selected. You can only slice into one layer at a time ❤️

I made these shirts lining up my words like you with the different colors but I felt like I wasted a lot of htv. If you want to keep the words aligned there's not really another way around it is there? Thx!

thank you so much for explaining design space.....I'm new to cricut and design space and it's really confusing right now. Not many people can explain things in a simple, clear, manner but, you do!!!!! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!!! Could you do a video on how to edit a bought design off of Cricut? Or a cartridge? IF, there's a different way to do it!!! Like I said, I'm learning....LOL I bought a heart with a paw print on the bottom right line of the heart and I wanted to change the colors on it....the paw print-black and the heart- silver glitter. I'm hoping to use the same procedure you did, in this video, to change the colors or cut out the paw print and add something else- like a music note...….I'm making a Dog Mom and Band Mom t-shirt for myself and my friend. Here's to hoping I can figure this out on my own..... LOL

I’ve uploaded a svg and I’ve followed the process up until slice. The svg will not allow me to do this step. Any ideas?
