Sweeeeet editing video brother. 👍 You probably know this already, but in the Sharpening section, if you click & drag on Masking & hold 'option' or 'alt' it'll show you the areas that will only be sharpened. A great way to reduce noise in an image, especially in areas that don't need sharpening. 😎🤟

When I import my photos should I use the “copy as DNG” option or just the “Copy” option in Lightroom. The photos being imported are in RAW format(for context)

I feel like the only times I have issues editing jpg images for clients as opposed to raw is when the image is poorly photographed (i.e. a beginner photographer using wrong/bad camera settings for the environment). If the photographer knows what they're doing and they just happened to accidentally take it in jpg instead of raw I can still work with it quite well

Bro you need to make more use of the new masks 😳 For example in the jpg image of the tram, instead of painting the ground withe the brush tool, you could have just used a gradient, and removed the part where it covers the tram by using the subject selection. Or the other way round, subject mask, invert, remove everything but the ground with a gradient. It's too easy not to use it

I do my editting on Lightroom Mobile so I dont know if this is on the computer version but........is there a way to select subject only or sky only in Lightroom on the computer like there is on LR Mobile? Ever since they added this feature on LR Mobile it has made my editting a whole lot easier when selecting just the subject or sky without using gradient and radient filters.
