To go deep into the story, the boys have been living through these experiences and failures over and over again. Each time they lose their memories and don't remember the promise they made or the real purpose of their journey. The sparkly Beomgyu in the MV is one version of Viken (his storyline character name) that failed to save his friends. In the story, he ends up sacrificing himself to save the current version of the five members in order to help them succeed where he failed in his own storyline. The way they defeat the dragon and save the world is by realizing their own individual powers and making their own individual sacrifices. Only once they acknowledge their own idenities, are they able to come together as one, keeping the promise they originally made by realizing that asking each other for help and asking MOA for help is not weakness, but strength. For me, this is basically what we saw in Chasing That Feeling and Deja Vu MV. They found their individuality, but struggled to remember the promise and remember what it was that kept them together. The childhood dreams and passions they had are comprimised by being an adult "monster" fixated on money (LO$ER) and they have to realize that they can both be adults and still keep childhood dreams and passions alive.

TXT has such interesting lore! their music videos are always incredibly cinematic, but this one is def one of their more stunning ones. i don't think i'll ever fully understand the story, but the concept of being stuck in this rose coloured fantasy world of youth, trying to run into the seemingly harsh real world of adulthood is clearly so well thought out and i always love hearing other people's interpretations of it

Aww to be honest it's easier to understand if you follow them during 0x1 lovesong cuz that's the time the star seekers came out and moa started to connect the storyline. There's also like a children's pop up book by txt abt the child that a horn grew up his head too! But rest assured all u need to do is just watch all the mv in orders (not just title, also b-sides cuz the lore is there) and read the webtoon. U could also watch the theory KZbin channel cuz most of it explained there (there's this one that maybe titled as TXT lore)

I was curious if you thought them only having up to 1080 resolution was intentional to go with the nostalgic vibe. It is a little prince concept. This has to do with a promise they made each other, which was slipping away almost out of their grasp. Yeonjun said he cried 2 out of the 3 days they filmed the MV, so he really cried at the end. Taehyun said he was stuck in the same position for 40 minutes while they added flowers for his stop motion scene. Kai said he had a hard time on the MV but didn't get too far into it. Maybe the wire work or bridge scenes were the cause. Beomgyu had to do scenes with added hair to become that sparkly image they were trying to get a hold of. Soobin was in the back of a car with the funny clouds outside in the beginning, while Beomgyu was on the bus with the same clouds later.

The opening line about things being invisible to the eye is a reference to The Little Prince, which is a favorite book of mine that is very much a cultural touchstone in Korea. There's a fox in the story who begs the little prince to tame him but reminds him that if he does, he'll be responsible for him forever.... And one of the central themes of the book is that what is essential is invisible to the eye. The fox's friendship is a key moment. I'm sure their fox is more than just this - just like they reinterpreted Neverland before - but I'm still delighted to see it. I genuinely believe that this book is, all by itself, worth learning French to read in its original language. Dessine-moi un mouton! And it fits with TxT perfectly - it is, in many ways, a meditation on childhood, magic, grief, and loss. I love watching you dig into their videos 😁

I waited since the day this MV dropped for your reaction because i know you will be CRAZY! and once again your reaction and analysis is really satisfying, entertaining and thoughtful thank you jordan! IMO This MV depicts their album title and story so well! The album titled: TOMORROW. And as taehyun said "something you cant see but important" : it's tomorrow. The fox name is TOMORROW and it represents tomorrow and also the past. The boys here having their identity crisis. The nostalgic/anemoia/deja vu concept is all reference to Japanase Movie "Your Name". And TXT's lore is basically about 5 of them as childhood bestfriends, but then they grew up, forgetting each other, and now they are alone, lonely, having quarter life crisis, trying to remember again who they really are, and what is their purpose in this world. You can see in the end of the MV, Yeonjun begging to the universe to bring back his youth (his friends who he actually dont remember) and almost S worded but then the "sparkling lady" aka Beomgyu saved him, hug him, and they are together again running in the field just like how they used to be. Because with the five of them, they can face tomorrow, together And almost all the lyrics in this song is a reference to their previous songs/story! So its really fun actually to analyze the story, the mv, and the lyrics ~

Idk if this is already being talked about, but to me the concept of this album resembles a lot the story of a very famous french book "le petit prince" (eng.: The little prince). For example the blonde hair and the crowns in the trailer and also the fox (I have a lot more refrences). And ofc the meaning of the story of the little prince and meaning of 'deja vu' by TXT. Either way, this mv is so beautiful

Hi Jordan and guys I actually have a theory. Well you see the " women " you were saying is actually beomgyu. It could be just me but have you all noticed that most of time beomgyu has less lines. Not that I am found of it but like actually. But I payed attention to the parts of lyrics beomgyu is singing. Most of them are like he is it saying to the members. Even in Loser lover mv. We see the 4 members with the girl but we never saw beomgyu having any interaction with any girl. So what if the tomorrow that the members are suppose to build together is beomgyu, but the members haven't notice. What you all think BTW I love your videos it help me learn so much stuff.

Personally I don’t find any romantic interpretation of the music video; the song can point that way, but I think Beomgyu (aka the sparkly “”lady”” lol) is a representation of their forgotten promise, which they’re searching for and reaching out for. I personally don’t think he represents desiring romance or a soulmate in this music video, even though the lyrics of the song can definitely be either platonic or romantic. But that’s just my interpretation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Edit: I also think that this music video harkens back to the visual story in Nap of a Star. The 5 of them are together in their youth, go their separate ways, forget about their promise, and then reunite under the light of the star. Perhaps Beomgyu represents that star in this music video, trying to call out to them to remember the promise. The concept trailer even visually parallels Nap of a Star at the end, when the others surround Yeonjun and help him to his feet, all with a very choppy frame rate to simulate an old film. ~it’s about Friendship~
