@@fredh1720 I'm not a big fan of their new sound. I miss the old Editors. I do understand bands needs to change, cannot do the same thing over and over. Times are changing. But they just unrecognizable by now. Songs like All sparks, Munich, End has a start are anthems. But these songs sounds like a forgettable pop chart shit to me. Even radios don't play them anymore. They fell between mainstream and no alternative anymore league like Hurts and Many bands that tried to change but failed.

@@rettenthetetlen8759 Eh, I think their old albums are overrated. An End Has A Start is good, but the others are no better than "fine" IMO. The first really interesting thing they did was The Weight Of Your Love, and every album since then has been decent. Having heard EBM a number of times now, I don't doubt that it's one of the best things they've ever done, "mainstream" or otherwise. Although I will say I massively overrated this song, and find it instead to be complete filler in the context of the album. Picturesque is the best song on this one.

@@fredh1720 Their early stuff is the reason I loved this band. The weight of your love is actually a pretty decent album. Since that I only liked a few songs from then. The recent album is interesting, have more energy than the album before. ITLTE, In Dream and Violence was the weakest in my opinion. In Dream could have been a Ed Sheeran album, and that's not a praise from me.

@@Nob0und5YTshorts ​ You can use ‘katakana’ characters for foreign names transcription into Japanese. So the word ‘Editors’ becomes エディターズ in Japanese katakana. E エ, di ディ, to タ, r ー, s ズ (The dash-like symbol represents a long vowel sound.) I hope this helps!

Thats a common issue with todays industry. It diminishes the excitement for the album release when you realize you’re only getting 4 or 5 new songs after half or more of the albums already been spoiled. Times change I guess, oh well.

This is what bands/singers do now, it's called waterfalling, they release all singles before the album releases so you're usually left with about half an album to enjoy when it comes out if you're lucky

It's a shame a Depeche Mode fan doesn't appreciate another band with a cool dark synth-rock sound. DM and Editors are two of my favourite bands and have a lot in common to my ear. Anyway, Vibe rules and I like that Editors aren't afraid to tear the fanbase apart every few years :)
