i have always shipped stancy when he was kinda annoying i liked her and Jonathan, but Steve is a great guy. i think his heart has been broken so many times and i think it's heartbreaking. to love someone so much that they left you and called the relationship bs, i get she was drunk, but she couldn't even say i love you back. that hurts in so many different ways. ik that steve was mean and annoying sometimes, but that's love, when ur in love you do stupid things. he stood up for her after he realized he was wrong, he's loved her for soo long, he cared when she lost Barbara when no one else did. also nancy did do some messed up things too, and some people like one of my friends doesn't think they should be together because of that, they actually yelled at me :( i think that a lot of the times people focus on the bad things that happen that they don't realize how many good things has happened to them. i think that steve's and everyone's past shouldn't define them. it shouldn't matter who you were before, it matters who you are now, that matter the most. a AALLSSO: this is incredible, this song hit different. this was incredible you have made my fav edit so far

I 100000% agree with you, people make mistakes and you have to learn to forgive them and forget abt it. My friends always see the worst in people too and it's so disappointing. They are both really good people and actually my two fav characters. Don't get me wrong though I really liked Nancy and Jonathan in S2 and S3 but Jonathan's changed and I think Nancy deserves someone (aka Steve) to be there for her when she needs someone. Also tysm

The moment he talked bout his dream and confessed that Nan always be there in his dream. Im so touched. I never saw and feel any vibes of Jonathan and nancy even in ss3 when they are together. But Steve, he loves her even when they brokeup. When billy almost hit her by car, steve was the one who saved her. Like he said, he learned, now he is mature and being a gentlement. They both need time to realize who they really love

Is it odd that I am more worried about Steve than Nancy? Like that I suspect that trailer scene with Eddie playing in the Upside Down is because they can't find a copy of her favorite song but also that between Nancy and who we know Vecna is, I have more faith in Nancy outsmarting him. But like the bat bite will be a slow burn story.

@@editsbytay a bigger worry is that story wise , Steve might have completed his journey and while his death might have a bigger effect on the Hawkins crew and not necessarily the rest, that effect would be more massive on the older kids and then it would really impact Dustin which would hurt the whole group.

Although I dislike Nancy for cheating, I understand her guilt whenever she sees Steve because she'd get reminded of Barbara's death. If you trace back the cause of her bestfriend's death, it all leads back to her. She was the one who invited Barbara to that house, forced her to open a can that cause her to bleed, that blood attracted the monster then she left Barbara alone to enjoy a night with Steve and Barbara became a snack , like wow this is horrible but still not a good excuse to cheat on your innocent boyfriend who's trying to change.

In S1 both Steve and Jonathan had flaws. Okay. Both have evolved since then

@@booksrock9678 He's still a drunkie and never took accountability for his creepy actions, and instead tried to hide it behind the fact will was missing. In the second season the literally week that hadn't and Steve broke up because she was lying to him about loving him is when they got together, meanwhile Steve trying to find a way to apologize when he did nothing wrong. Third season, he gets Nancy and when she tried to express how badly she is treated as a woman in the working environment he conservatively shuts her down and chooses to be ignorant. The show then makes the problem that Nancy is being inconsiderate of Jonathan's situation and puts her in the position to apologize, completely if dropping his own faults. Although Nancy should have been less ignorant on the situation, when Jonathan confronted her he was almost blaming her for being privileged compared to him and still not being content, which is not fair. We dont see much of them in season 4, but him postponing to tell her about deciding to stay with his family and instead thinking its best to slowly break up with her, rubs me off the wrong way as well (despite the reason why he was doing it was justified). From what I've seen there was no development. There were serious things Jonathan had done that needed to be addressed that werent. But for steve, him purposefully being a character that we weren't supposed to like in season 1, and abruptly deciding to give him development, made it better.
